Founded in 2019 in Switzerland, Chanoyu is a young brand born from the passion of a team of tea experts with over 20 years of experience. Inspired by the traditional Japanese tea ceremony, our brand strives to introduce tea lovers to the richness of an ancient product. By drawing on the foundational principles of this ancestral ritual, we now offer a diverse range of teas adapted for the 21st century.

Chanoyu, which means 'the way of tea' in Japanese, is inspired by the four pillars defined by the tea master Sen Rikyu in the 16th century: harmony, respect, purity, and tranquility. By revisiting these principles, we transform each tasting into an authentic and responsible experience.
